Morgan played a female character on the AIDS prevention and education videos. Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the profits were donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. She has also spearheaded several other fundraising efforts to fight AIDS and testified before a special Congressional Commission about AIDS Education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop's former deputy surgeon general requested her from time to time to substitute for him at AIDS awareness events. She also hosted the AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan was nominated for an Emmy for her special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan co-starred on the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife along with Joan Rivers. The summer began by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Her next project took her to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also in the psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film garnered one of its most impressive ratings to date.
